Kerry Ashby

Kerry joined the Essential Wealth team in April 2024, bringing a wealth of experience and administration expertise. Kerry works within our client management team, working alongside Emma and assisting Marc and Natasha with looking after our clients’ financial administration.

Before joining us, Kerry managed a portfolio of 15 properties based here in the UK and in Portugal, and prior to this she was instrumental in setting up an ecommerce business, putting her 20 years’ experience in buying and merchandising to use whilst learning new skills.

Efficiency and attention to detail are some of Kerry’s key strengths and she holds the level 3 NVQ in Administration. Kerry has become a valuable member of the Essential Wealth team.

We asked Kerry how she has found her first year, she said ‘I am really enjoying the interaction with clients and learning more about wealth management. It feels like i have worked at Essential Wealth for a lot longer than i have, we all work well together as a team. I have been surprised at how much of my experience and skills I have been able to utilise'.

Interests

Kerry lives locally to the Newbury office and likes to spend her time with her family, taking country walks with her dog and she has a passion for travel. One of her most memorable trips was climbing Chichen Itza in Mexico and flying over the Angel Falls in Venezuela.

Kerry is looking forward to our 2025 fundraising events. where we will be running 10 x 10k runs. Our chosen charity for 2025 is the Newbury Soup kitchen, supporting homeless, lonely and vulnerable adults in West Berkshire. Since 2006, Essential Wealth have raised over £65,000 for charity.
